Mission
Student Conduct through the Dean of Students Office develops students by promoting an environment conducive to transforming lives and empowering individuals through the fair and impartial administration of the Code of Student Conduct.
Goals
- Cultivate collaboration with the University community to increase awareness of University policies such as the Code of Student Conduct
- Promote and ensure due process in alignment with student' rights and responsibilities
- Foster learning opportunities through educational sanctions
Learning Outcomes
Students participating in the conduct process will:
- demonstrate an understanding of their rights and responsibilities as a member of the NSU community.
- articulate how their actions impacted their personal well-being.
- demonstrate an understanding of how their behavior impacts the University community.
- demonstrate an understanding of University policies, specifically, the Code of Student Conduct.
- recognize the importance of the Code of Student Conduct.
