Located at VBHEC

The Center for Public Health Initiatives at NSU is located at the Virginia Beach Higher Education (VBHEC) and partners with experts, community-based organizations, employers and others to provide a variety of training, workforce development and pathways programs. We welcome opportunities to provide and support ad hoc and ongoing programs focused on public health (as defined here).

At VBHEC, NSU continues its longstanding history of providing space for non-credit education and training opportunities. 

Current programs based at VBHEC include:

• Community Education (for community members)
• Professional Education (including for the public health workforce)
• Reclamation / Readmission Project
• Pathways Programs
• Community Health Worker, Community of Practice
