Get your HRT GoPass 365 Now!
Students, faculty, staff and NSU contracted employees, the HRT GoPass365 is available for purchase. The GoPass365 is a boarding pass that remains active for 365 days, and can be used on every mode of transit offered by Hampton Roads Transit. The passes are active from July 1 –June 30 of each fiscal year. The price is $225.
Ride any HRT bus, ferry, or light rail route as many times as you want within the period of the GoPass and hours of operation. However, anyone caught riding the light rail without a pass will be written a summons to appear in court in the city of Norfolk, issued a fine and charged for the cost of court.
Here’s how to buy your GoPass365
Your NSU Spartan ID Card will be required for all transactions to participate in the program.
Faculty/Staff — Cash, Check, Visa, MC, DSC, and Amex are welcome. Payroll Deduction option available by visiting the Office of Student Center/ Office of Student Activities & Leadership.
Students — You can purchase an HRT GoPass365 with Financial Aid funds by placing money on your Spartan Card (Cash, Check, Visa, MC, DSC, and Amex).
Non-University Employees — Food Services (Thompson Hospitality, AARP, CorTech Temporary Staffing, Spartan Health Center, Barnes & Noble) — Visit the Cashier’s Office located on the 2nd Floor, of the Student Services Center to purchase your HRT Go-Pass 365 by (Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.) Payroll deduction is not an option for non-university employees. Your NSU Spartan ID Card will be required.
Payroll Deduction —Complete the Payroll Deduction Form and your NSU Spartan ID Card is required. You will receive your HRT GO-Pass 365 at that time.
To place funds on your Spartan card
- Visit Spartan card online at https://www.nsu.edu/finance/auxiliary-services/spartan-card/index
- Visit the Cashier’s Office (Student Services Center, 2nd Floor)
- Use the Spartan card Kiosk (Student Center, 1st Floor main lobby, under the TV).
- Visit the Office of Student Activities & Leadership, Student Center, 3rd Floor, to pick up your HRT GoPass365.
