Biography:
Dr. Hargsoon Yoon is a Professor and the founder of Neural Engineering and Nano-Electronics Laboratory at the Norfolk State University. His research interest is focused on neural recordings and functional imaging of neural network in the brain. His research works have been funded by NSF, NASA, DoD and NIH in external funding and led to the publications in many journals and conferences. He serves as a review panel review of NIH BRAIN Initiative Program, a Guest Editor of a Journal Biosensors (Special Issues on Neural Sensing and Interfacing Technology), a Review Editor of Journal Frontiers in Materials and an editorial board member of a Journal Scientific Pages of Translational Medicine. He is also a program committee member of the SPIE International Conference for Nano-, Bio-, Info-Tech Sensors and Systems and holding membership in the Society for Neuroscience and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society as a Senior Member.
