The Teacher Prep Student Support Services Program is designed to provide academic support services to one hundred and forty eligible students until they graduate from the university to increase their retention and graduation rates, to facilitate their entrance into the teaching profession with full licensure / certification, and foster an institutional climate of support and success for low-income and - or first generation college students and individuals with disabilities.
Purpose
Teacher PREP Student Support Services Program is a TRIO Program that provides opportunities for academic development and completion of requirements for postsecondary education. The purpose of the Teacher PREP Student Support Services Program is to provide opportunities for academic development, assist students with basic college requirements and to motivate students toward the successful completion of their postsecondary education and enter the teaching profession with full licensure requirements.
