By concentrating on Norfolk State University’s historic strengths and emerging areas of opportunity, NSU Development focuses its efforts on securing philanthropic dollars to help develop dynamic young leaders who thrive in an unpredictable world. Gifts from alumni, parents, friends of NSU, and corporate/foundation partners provide the bedrock support for our students, as well as the outstanding teacher-scholars on the NSU campus who work diligently to prepare curious minds to succeed in jobs that don’t yet exist, to be leaders and citizens of character, and to practice the intercultural competence necessary for a global society.
