Accreditation

AACSB accreditation serves as the hallmark of excellence in business education. We remain the region's only AACSB-accredited business school to offer a concentration in Entrepreneurship, and we are the first HBCU in the nation to have an Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program. Housed in the Ernest M. Hodge Institute for Entrepreneurship, the EIRP enables our students to serve as consultants to prospective entrepreneurs as well as to actual for- and not-for-profit businesses seeking growth opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. In addition to the above programs and concentrations that are accredited by AACSB International, the Business School also administers a Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism and Hospitality.
