About

The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs provides administrative oversight for the schools, colleges, and academic support resources of Norfolk State University. The Provost's network includes two colleges, three professional schools, the School of Extended Learning, the Honors College, the Graduate School, an off-campus center, and academic support programs.

Colleges and Schools of NSU

The colleges are the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology. The schools are the School of Business, the School of Education, and the Ethelyn R. Strong School of Social Work. Thirty-one bachelor’s degree programs, two associate degree programs, fifteen master’s degree programs, and three doctoral degree programs are offered through these colleges and schools.

Community Involvement

Continuing Norfolk State University’s tradition of service, the Office of the Provost promotes and encourages community involvement. The Office of the Provost provides a variety of programs and opportunities in which the students, faculty and staff may demonstrate altruistic spirit.
