What is a Transcript?

A transcript is an official record of a student's academic work, including a list of courses taken, grades received, and credits awarded.

How do I obtain a Transcript?

An official transcript of a student's academic record at Norfolk State University is available only through the Office of the Registrar, upon the written request of the student.

How much does this cost?

Transcripts are $3.00 via - in person or by mail.

Transcripts are $3.00 with a $2.00 processing fee (Total:  $5.00)  via the Online order form.

Effective June 1, 2007, the online process fee increased $ .25

What are the Restrictions to this?

All financial holds on a student's record must be cleared before a transcript will be released and payment must be received before transcript is mailed.
