COLLEGE ANNOUNCES ITS 2000 SUMMER PROGRAM Norfolk, Va. --- Charlotte A. Brown, director of the Norfolk State University Children's College, announced its 2000 summer program dates beginning with early registration today. The college will offer academic programs and recreational activities to students in grades one through 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays, June 19 - July 21, except for Tuesday, July 4, 2000. These full and part-time programs are individually priced and include classes in computer literacy, pre-geometry, pre-algebra, mathematics, science, social studies, reading, writing, and much more. The recreational activities include instruction in various levels of swimming, arts and crafts, team sports, and others. Regular orientation and registration for parents will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 17 in the Mills E. Godwin Student Center Ballroom on campus.
