University 101
|
UNI 101
is a course designed to help first year undergraduate students adjust to the
university, develop a better understanding of the college environment,
and acquire essential academic success skills. Common themes include
orientation to campus services, NSU’s mission and history, students’
rights and responsibilities and an appreciation of service-learning civic engagement.
Students gain an overview of their learning strengths and
weaknesses, and understand their learning style to
learn more effectively and accomplish their goals. UNI 101 serves as an effective jumpstart to
NSU’s first year scholar!
