The Male Mentoring Program is designed to aid in the academic,
personal, professional and overall development of male students at
Norfolk State University.
The emphasis of is on mentoring and nurturing male students with the
expectation that they will continue at NSU, graduate, and ultimately
become successful in their chosen careers.
The Mentoring program will re-launch in the Fall of 2009. It is one of
the services that the Office of First Year Experience offers to help
students achieve intellectual and personal success at Norfolk State
University. The program is designed to promote and facilitate
interactions between faculty and students. Through this mentoring
relationship, students looks forward to intellectual stimulation,
academic support, career guidance, and friendship. The primary goal of
the program is enhance student’s learning and development at the
University and beyond.
